Osprey Oars would like to invite any potential Sarasota scullers to join the Sarasota rowing program the OSPREY OARS!

The Osprey Oars, the elite Sarasota scullers team, is the sarasota crew that has been operating out of the same location at 131 Bayview Drive in Osprey under the leadership and guidance of its Founder and Head Coach, Peter deManio since 1991.

Osprey Oars, a small, highly competitive Sarasota elite rowers club emphasizing the pursuit of excellence on the water and in the classroom was founded by Peter de Manio in October of 2003.

Cooper River, Cherry Hill, NJ

4/29/2007 - The Osprey Oars quad, continuing its quest to compete against the strongest quads in the country, elected not to compete in the Florida State Championships on April 29 where they were the overwhelming favorites to capture the quad title. Instead, they traveled to Cherry Hill, NJ to compete in the Cooper Cup, a 2000 meter race on the Cooper River in preparation for the National Championships in June.... more>>

4/24/2007 - The Osprey Oars' varsity quad of Alex Miller, Parker Lawler, Kyle Schmidt and Ian Stewart, put its undefeated season on the line when it traveled to Princeton, New Jersey on April 21st to take on some of the fastest youth sculling programs in the country over the 1500 meter course on Mercer Lake.... more>>
